The message of the Kendra which can be summed up in Swamiji's clarion call to the nation 'Arise! Awake! And stop not till the goal is reached' is disseminated through a variety of publications - books, periodicals, magazines, etc.

Yuva Bharati in English and Kendra Bharati in Hindi are the monthly journals of Kendra. These cater to the needs of different sections of the reading public and stress Swamiji's idea of inundating the nation with spiritual values so that the external development of man is balanced by his internal development the lack of which is the bane of modern civilization.
Vivekananda Kendra Patrika is a thematic six-monthly cultural magazine, each issue devoted to a specific topic.

Other journals are Vivek Vichar in Marathi; Jagruti in English & Assamese; Vivek Sudha in Gujarathi and Vivek Vani in Tamil

A large number of books on various topics are published by Kendra. To cite a few One of such prestigious books that the Kendra has published is 'India's contribution to World Thought and Culture' - a commemorative volume, published during the time of inauguration of Rock Memorial, in 1970. This voluminous book is republished in this year. Another is 'Comprehensive Biography of Swami Vivekananda' by Prof. S.N. Dhar in two parts.
